SMS Communication Terms & Conditions

KRS IT Consulting offers SMS (Short Message Service) communication as a supplementary channel to support end-users of our client organizations. By receiving and interacting with SMS messages from KRS IT Consulting, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Purpose of SMS Communication

KRS IT Consulting provides IT support services to businesses under managed services agreements. As part of our commitment to efficient and responsive support, we may contact you via SMS regarding:

  • Updates on active support tickets
  • Notications regarding technical issues or resolution status
  • Requests for clarication or further details related to your support inquiry
  • Scheduled maintenance or planned downtime announcements

SMS will serve as a supplemental communication method alongside email and phone support.

2. User Consent

By receiving SMS messages from KRS IT Consulting, you acknowledge that your employer has entered into a service agreement with us and has authorized communication with you via text as part of the IT support
process.

3. Limitations of SMS Communication

SMS is not a secure method of communication. As such:

  • Do not send sensitive or confidential information (such as passwords, personally identifiable information, financial data, or protected health information) via SMS.
  • We will never request sensitive information through SMS.
  • Any sensitive information sent to us via SMS is at your own risk.

4. No Liability for Sensitive Data

Since SMS is inherently insecure, KRS IT Consulting is not responsible or liable for any sensitive or confidential information that is voluntarily disclosed via SMS. If such data is inadvertently sent, we strongly recommend following up through more secure channels, such as email or phone.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile service plan. Please contact your wireless provider for details.

6. Message Frequency

You may receive messages periodically during active support interactions. Message frequency will vary based on your interaction with our support team and ongoing ticket activity.

7. Opting In

Customers will send START to 973-585-8900 to receive text messages from KRS IT Consulting.

8. Opting Out

If you no longer wish to receive SMS messages from us, reply “STOP” to any message. Note: This may impact our ability to provide timely support or updates related to your IT issues.
